The theme verse for the series is Galatians 2:20.
When you are crucified with Christ, you no longer live…But Jesus Christ lives His life in and through you.
I must die so Christ may live! Self must be crucified with Christ.

All throughout Paul’s writings, we see this emphasis placed on Christ being the meaning of life for the believer. To live is Christ…when Christ who is your life appears…I am crucified with Christ.

You are not your own …bought at a high price (the death of Jesus) so we are called to honor God in the way that we live.

The apostle Paul speaks to us about identifying ourselves with Christ in his life, dearth, and resurrection.

The passage for this week is Galatians 5:13-21.

Self must die so Christ can live! When we indulge and engage the flesh we are not allowing Christ to rule and reign in our lives.

Other key pieces come from these passages.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! The below should all be occurring in us.

  1. The Denial of Self
  2. The Death of Self
  3. The Different Self
