Prayer is an essential piece of our relationship with God. It is one way we commune with Him, either by listening, speaking, or thinking. We all need to be praying, both individually and in groups in public.
One way that we do that together is on Sunday mornings at 9AM. At that time some people gather in our pastor’s office. Come join us.
We also have a prayer wall at church where both prayer requests and answers to prayer can be placed. Our staff prays over these.
If you have prayer requests, you can also direct them to either one of our staff for inclusion in the Sunday morning prayer group. To pray by yourself, consider either prayerfully reading the Psalms or perhaps use the ACTS prayer model, which closely resembles what is known as the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew’s Gospel.
- Adore God, praising Him for who He really is.
- Confess our sins to Him
- Thanks is something we should give to Him often.
- Supplication is where we take our requests for others and self to Him.
1 John 5:14-15
14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
